Aden Energies completes grid connection for ENERGEE phase II PV project

Aden has successfully achieved grid connection for the Phase II distributed photovoltaic (PV) project at the ENERGEE Plant, a milestone in the ongoing partnership between the two companies. This accomplishment reinforces their shared commitment to advancing clean energy adoption and supporting low-carbon manufacturing.

    Advancing sustainable manufacturing through partnership

ENERGEE, a Geely Holding Group company specializing in new energy batteries, is dedicated to integrating green manufacturing and low-carbon practices across its operations. The Jianhu Plant stands as a strategic site for implementing and scaling sustainable energy initiatives.

The collaboration between Aden and ENERGEE (former Geely’s Yoening Technology) was formally established in March 2025 with the signing of a renewable energy agreement, initiating the development of distributed PV solutions at the plant. Following the effective rollout of the rooftop PV system in Phase I, the completion of Phase II underscores the continued progress and alignment of both parties in pursuing decarbonization targets.

Innovative application: integrated PV carport and EV charging

Phase II extends the renewable energy footprint beyond rooftop installations by introducing an integrated PV carport and electric vehicle (EV) charging solution. By utilizing available parking space, the project simultaneously supports on-site clean power generation and meets growing EV charging needs, thereby increasing the facility’s overall renewable energy utilization.

Aden oversaw the full project lifecycle—including investment, construction, and long-term operation and maintenance—ensuring system reliability, safety, and optimized performance. This approach not only raises the share of renewable energy at the site but also serves as a scalable model for multifunctional clean energy applications in industrial settings.

Grid connection achieved, supporting a zero-carbon pathway

With the project now connected to the grid and operational, it is poised to deliver measurable benefits in energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and energy mix optimization. These outcomes will further ENERGEE’s strategic objective of transitioning toward a zero-carbon factory.

The successful commissioning of Phase II also strengthens the foundation for future cooperation between Aden and ENERGEE across clean energy deployment, energy management, and broader sustainability programs. Moving forward, Aden remains focused on delivering adaptable and actionable clean energy solutions, collaborating with industry partners to drive meaningful green transformation.
